Amy Ford is a Musician, Dancer, an Astrologer and Reiki Master. She has been involved in the fields of Healing, Teaching, Performance and Visual Art since 1984. Astrology, Eastern Thought and Native American Wisdom have been an integral part of her personal journey and education. These teachings are combined within her practice.

Amy received her first deck of Tarot cards at age eight and began to read them with proficiency. She is known for her ability to get to the shadow self and council the client to healing and knowledge.

Her pursuit of the study of Astrology began at age fourteen and continues to this day. Amy holds a degree in Astrology from NorthStar College of Astrological Studies. Amy utilizes state of the art software and is able to give council on subjects including: relationships, relocation, health and career decisions. Many have said Amy is uncanny in her accuracy of interpreting the Natal chart often bringing to light that which no one has seen before. Amy has invented an oracle based on Astrology entitled, "Divinataur", soon to be released.

Amy’s work has been in many settings in the fields of counseling and consulting including IBM and the Revive Spa at the J.W. Marriott Desert Ridge, in Scottsdale, Arizona. She has taught in the education system in Pennsylvania for the Lehigh Council for the Arts, in Florida for the Stuart Center for the Arts and in Arizona for the Arizona Commission for the Arts. In addition, Amy writes a column geared to the cycle of the New Moon. This is published on several websites and circulated on numerous lists. Her insights receive commendation on a monthly basis.

As a Musician, she is a Percussionist and a Vocalist with four Albums entitled ‘Last Night’s Dream’, ‘Tribe of 2’, "Night Music" which won her and her partner Brent Scherer, "Best Acoustic Band in Phoenix"and her current release entitled, "En Vivo". He musical duo, "Tribe of 2" and plays an eclectic blend of Nuevo Español acoustic music. She is currently in the studio working on her fourth CD of sacred chants with heavy groove along with producer Liv Singh Khalsa on his Invincible label. Amy has just completed a project entitled, "Sin Fronteras", with artist Eric Holland in which she recorded both spoken word and song in Spanish about the issues of the border between the United States and México.

Amy records on many Artists projects and works with her bands, "Tribe of 2", "Madrid", her Reggae band, "Sol Reggae" and the Gypsy trio, "Caravan", entertaining at numerous resorts in the Valley of the Sun, Phoenix Arizona as well as traveling to other states and in México.

She has played devotional music in Sweat Lodges for the Tiwa Tribe for Beautiful Painted Arrow and the Peace Weavers, Ashrams including Kripalu Yoga in Lennox Massachusetts, and Healing Centers across the United States. She integrates the Arts and Healing in her workshop, "EnCHANTment", in which she facilitates the participants utilizing Breath, Sounds, Chants, World Percussion and Guitar to super charge energy and open to their intuition. The Astrology of the current sky sets the theme for each gathering.

As a writer, Amy speaks truths from her heart filled with rich imagery and myth sprinkled with her unique humor. This takes form in Lyrics, Poetry, Prose and Chants and Moon Casting. Amy is currently working on a book entitled, "Thirteen, The Number of the Goddess." She brings great healing and love as she shares her creative expression. She is available for Trainings, Workshops, Collaborations and Retreats.

Amy has been performing and teaching as a dancer since she was a child. She has taught Jazz, Isolations and African styles. Her love of Latin drumming lead her to learn the dances of Latin America including, Salsa, Merengue, Bachata and Reggaeton. She provides group classes and works one on one with students. Her specialty is finding what a students challenges are and bringing them to reach their highest potential. Her work as a drummer makes her a great choice as teacher for students with rhythm challenges.
